What is In My Work Bag

Alright, this is another cliche blog post on "What is in my work bag?". I'm sure you won't be stranger to this kind of blog post. I always love to watch other Youtubers on sharing their latest haul, organizing tips and what do they carry in their bag in daily basis.

As a person who constantly travel to work, often time I need to detox my carry-too-many-things habit so that my bag is not too heavy to carry. And yes, having the ESSENTIALS, let me rephrase it E-S-S-E-N-T-I-A-L-S are great because: One, your bag is not going to over loaded; Two, it is easier to find your stuff in the bag. Yep, I'm guilty on that especially in looking for car keys, parking tickets, tissues, movie tickets, etc.

A BUNDLE OF JOY for All Dogs: Bow Wow Cafe, Puchong

I always admire how Parisians enjoy their weekends by the street with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. While gazing through the beautiful streets, chatting with their friends, they also bring one or a few dogs along! As in Malaysia, we seldom have this opportunity with our furkids but dogs friendly cafes are getting trendier these days!

Hey smexies! Have you heard of Sturmanskie?

Sturmanskie actually means navigator in Russian. The brand was born in 1949 during Soviet time and its timepieces were manufactured for the Air Force of the Soviet Union and were never be available in the timepiece market. In April 12 1961, Sturmanskie was part of the space history because Yuri Gagarin, the first human to travel into and he was wearing Sturmanskie wristwatch. Not only that, Sturmanskie holds the record for the longest time spent in zero gravity environment.

Although I'm not a timepiece fan, but the design and history of Sturmanskie caught my attention. Nowadays, Sturmanskie has released several timepiece series that are affordable for timepiece lovers.  The price range of Sturmanskie watches are from RM600 to RM9,000. Summer Parties

Hello smexies!

Have you thought of traveling to other countries just for the sake of summer music festivals? I wasn't a big fan of music festivals, more specifically rave parties until I met my boyfriend. He started to introduced me to all sorts of techno music, Hardwell and Tiesto are his favourites. Getting familiar with the music was good but he insisted that I should attend to  dance-fests at Sepang because it had a better vibe in live than you know, popping your headphones to your ears. However, I can't just simply go to Sepang and party all night long because I have curfew. #Asianparentsftw

It sucks but I got to go to Swedish House Mafia's at Sunway in the beginning of 2013, I insisted that I should go because 1)It's only at Sunway 2)BEST OPPORTUNITY EVER, DUH! 3) I JUST LOVE SHM AND YOU SHOULD TO. Although the experience was not what I had in mind - note: it was mad packed with peeps and a girl's hair kept 'slapping' onto my face.

Seriously, nobody like to taste your salty hair.

Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour KL

Anyway, have you heard of EDC and Tomorrowland? Those two were the biggest electronic dance festivals in the US and Europe respectively which held in every summer. I am keen to go to Tomorrowland because it's in Belgium which I would love to travel to Europe one day. Moreover, the festival is influenced by the fairtytale theme  - it doesn't make sense to me because I didn't know fairies love rave, shouldn't they prefer to glittery Disney songs? I don't know.

Tomorrowland - Pinterest
Now that I think of it, maybe I could go to Tomorrowland because I can tumpang my friend's bf's crib at Switzerland. :P She sure would love the idea of me crashing into her boyfriend and her's summer. Maybe not that soon... I'm not working yet. After doing some research, it would costs roughly RM5k to RM10k to party for three days straight. Yesh, that is the price of life time experience!

Since I can't go there...yet, why not I gather some inspirational pictures and share it with you? I know many of them would spice up their outfit for the rave party but I'm kinda casual and laid back, I would prefer sneakers and shorts. Thanks to the weather in Malaysia, I think I'm pretty get used to the crowded place with HOT HOT HOT HOT weather. Just imagine walking in a crowded pasar malam, you guess it.

sweats... and it's good for losing your weight too.

That's all for now. I know this post is different than the usual ones, I just want to share the festivals with you.

Now tell me, are you a party animal? Which music festival would you like to attend?

Lovely Walk with Scotty

Settled in Kuala Lumpur for almost five years, I had no idea that there is a dog-friendly park until I read a forum online. Apparently, Desa Park City offers a great fertility for all dogs owner where they could bring their doggies for a jog at The Waterfront, a lake park in the residence area. My greatest treasure of all time, Scotty, a shih tzu often goes for a jog back in Penang, however once we moved back to KL, it didn’t had the chance to walk around the parks in our residence area.

Poor little doggy but not anymore. We decided to bring Scotty to go for a jog with other dogs in the park!
The park is indeed clean with beautiful lake that reflects the sky, the path is clean with crystal clear pathway. It is really a decent place for taking our favourite pets for a jog. Many people were jogging with different breeds of dogs, from Golden Retriever to Husky and some cute small breeds! Scotty was so excited he saw the park, it was like a ‘zen’ place to him!
That’s him training his stamina, he loves to run but sadly, he is quite old for a long jog. Scotty needs to rest after 5 minutes of jog, this dog is realliieee old but still fierce towards strangers.
Scotty taking a rest
I had a great day taking Scotty out for a walk, it is great for both of us to have healthy lifestyle! Try to take your pets for a walk ya, it is crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle even for animals!

Madhavi Rai,
nutritionist was there to explain the health benefits of tea. According to her, tea contains  antioxidants that able to improve health issues, metabolically detoxify harmful chemicals. Rai also added that moderate consumption is encouraged.

Teh tarik has been Malaysians-must-have-tea for so many years, we always have a good time for teh tarik anytime, anywhere! However, the amount of sugar in preparing teh tarik is overwhelming and unhealthy for the drinkers in a long run due to high level of sugar taking. Rai advised that we should opt for less sugar or even 2-in-1 beverage to control and reduce their sugar intake.
