Markets @ Jaya One 6

Markets has organised a flea market/ bazaar at Jaya One today. As a fashion lover, I couldn't resist to miss out this awesome event. The place was so crowded, every fashion lovers were there to pick out their favourite pieces, it was like their heaven.

The huge crowd at centre
Markets has brought in more than 80 vendors raging from clothing and craft to food and housewares. Believe me, it is really huge and we got lost in the bazaar on my way to the parking bay. Anyhow, we managed to find my car in this crowded area.
#close enough. Anyway, I managed to take some photos despite the huge crowd. The sellers were nice enough for not stopping me.

Tongue in Chic had their ticTV soft launch with DIY tote bag activity

Many shoppers were ogling the shoes at Kiss & Tell booth

Pretty booth decoration at the craft section
So many oriental inspired pieces, I don't know what to choose!

Things that really caught my eyes in the bazaar is that more and vendors are entering into organic D.I.Y. beauty products. It is a pretty cool stuff to do because it is environmental friendly and their products smell good!

Variety of soap bars at The Bubble Lab booth.

Organic skin care products from Kindersoaps

There are some vendors influenced by the culture, from vintage to popular subculture.

Vintage items.
Old version of Enid Blyton's and Lady Bird.
I used to have those books!
Cute badges from I heart badges

It was a fun day at the bazaar with my mom, we were having somehow a 'Mother and Daugther bonding time' LOL. Another reason is because she was the one who paid for nearly everything. :D Because you guys are special to me, I am going to share some of things that I've bought from Markets.

Scarf-inspired top from House of Allure
It is a scarf-inspired top with pretty unique design, a summer piece indeed! I believe that it can be worn with bikinis or shorts, having ice cream by the beach under the hot sun. Or maybe with a black leather jacket that would increase the oomph factor. Definitely a versatile piece because it can be scarf as well.

Close up design

Were you guys at Markets too? Do share your day with me here! :)

Lipstick ring

(Source: undermyumbrellaaaa)
I really love vintage fashion because of its sophisticated designs, especially it emphasizes on the feminine side of a lady. I was looking some stuffs at my mom's wardrobe and found some cute accessories. To my surprise, these cute accessories has been around for 40 years. My mom thought that these old accessories are old but she did not want to throw it away, so she decided to keep it.

is one of the accessories I would like to share with you guys. It is actually a lipstick holder! Impressive huh! At first I thought it was a ring until my mom said I must be too modern enough and had never seen such a thing. Yaaaaa right... she is right :p But I told her that it can become a ring as well, like an armour ring like that, with a vintage kind of feel. As you can see from the picture above, it comes with a mini mirror as well, good for applying lipstick or check your appearance. ;)

Another thing I found from hers is that a bow tie where my dad wore on his wedding day!! I know this is crazy because it is absolutely a precious moment piece, well at least for me. Seriously, my mom keeps her stuff very well. This bow tie do remind me of this

The black, the white and the bow tie! It is kinda has Betty Boop vibe, doesn't it?

Mary Jane Heels

Hello sexeh! Seriously, this is one pair of killer heels. If you have been following my Facebook Page, you would know that I have been obsessed with high heels lately (recent post: Catching up). I could not afford to get the shoes from Forever 21 (RM189!) but I found this pair of heels from This & That with a fraction of price! Not only the price is reasonable, it is really comfortable to wear too!

At first I saw these shoes at Sri Petaling but it was out of my size. I was so paranoid at first until I realized that they have another new branch at Setia Walk, Puchong. Soo... what did I do was taking out my smartphone and called my bf, telling him that I NEED TO GO TO SETIA WALK ASAP. He was annoyed and reluctant to go with me just to get this pair of shoes BUT I treated him dinner so... he has nothing to say. HAHAHAHAHA. Just kidding, he does think that the shoes match my feet.

ANYWAY, I bought this pair of heels and seriously love it.
and I love my boyfriend too, THERE I SAID IT.

Catching up

Catching up with friends and watched Dark Shadows today. Weather is rather hot this afternoon but it doesn't stop me, I love taking pictures.

Productive indeed

I know how does it feels like to be extremely boring during semester break, I am not going anywhere for vacation except for becoming a driver to fetch my mom back from work. Wait, I might be going somewhere but... still it is yet so far from now.

To avoid boredom, I have led myself to the obsession of a Facebook game. I know, it is embarrassing. More embarrassing is that I am obsessed of playing The Sims Social. The game is so interactive and always making me to be 'thick face' enough to ask for helps to my friends.

Damn inspired in The Sims but in real life...... meh.

I decided to try out some makeup look, grey and purple I guess. Dah lupa when did I do this eye look but it is a tedious job to get the eyes done with bunch of gradient eye shadows. Not only that, I also helped my mom to do some makeover for her friend's wedding dinner. I do not know why but my mom always WANT me to help her in makeup, unfortunately
I suck at it.

Do you like it?

Craving for desserts and pastries these days, it could be the symptoms of having a very hectic and stress semester, our semester period was compressed into few weeks shorter due to up coming Olympics 2012 in London. Our university, UEL (University of Easy Learning HAHAHA) has decided to shorten our schedule to prepare for the event.

Hey, I just met you
and this is crazy
but here's my mouth and
I gotta eat you...
Boy you came into my life
I crave you so bad
I crave you so bad
I crave you so so bad...
(Call me maybe lyrics HAHA)

I also decided to create a simple light box to do my photo shots, mainly for my blog like beauty reviews or some cute stuff to share.  I really thought of creating this light box for a long time but I have no where to get a piece of white cloth until now! It is a great use in enhancing product shots with less noise and much more focus to the product itself. These are some of my test shots:

Maybe, just maybe my holiday is quite productive after all. Food, games and my passion of doing something I love, which is makeup and photography. It could be a best time to improve my skills. =) I really think that I should use my time wisely for these since I cannot get an internship or part time job because of my LAN subjects classes, it is pretty sad 'cause the classes fall in the weekdays.

Lousy timetable.

I also current active on Pinterest and weheartit for inspiration in fashion, beauty, design and food. I love photography, fashion and beauty, which makes me so happy that I could see new inspirations every day. If you have Pinterest or wehearit accounts or both, why not add/follow me? I would definitely love it :)

That model I have been looking at

Vivi May and Summer issue

I have been told that I might get broke from spending money on something expensive. Uh-huh-huh-huh, I did, on ViVi magazines.

It was my lucky day to get these magazines because it is difficult to get the latest issue of ViVi in any typical well known book stores (Kinokuniya is an exception, but it is located at KLCC D: ) and news-stands. However, I was having dinner at Bangsar Shopping Centre yesterday and bumped onto a magazine shop at the far end of the shopping centre which sells the latest issue of ViVi! I did not expect any of that. Without any hesitation, I bought the magazines.

Just like that, my MYR25 waved goodbye and never return.

the latest trend
denims are in the season :p

What I like ViVi magazine is that heir fashion section is not crappy AT ALL, it always highlights the casual and cute outfits with awesome mix and match ideas. Moreover, it does not include many advertisement pages in the magazine. Like, you pay for good, man. Some magazines consists 50% of advertisement and few pages of fashion and beauty sessions. I understand that it is for their marketing purposes but uh-huh-huh-huh, the magazine like nothing to read also. lol

The collective items featured in the magazine. so pretteh!
Their model, Sara Mary has always been an eye catching for me.

ViVi Model - Sara Mary

ViVi Models Sara Mary_Lena Fujii
I definitely love her short hair, she is rocking it! :) After reading few pages of ViVi, it turned out that she is a debut singer in Japan. Definitely another +1 for her! I always find out that her look is pretty unique and her personality outfit is catchy, edgy and strong, it is really inspires me a lot.

And she sounds isn't that bad! +1 for Sara mary :P
Finally, this is her latest single 一期一会:

Pretty good isn't it? :p

I become a Nerd

Hi guys, I have became another girl in a pair HUGE glasses.

Owning this pair of glasses is risky, you know why? Apparently, not many people can accept the designs. They might go, 'are you seriously want to invest in a pair of nerdy glasses? What a nerd.' shit like that.

Well. sort of.

My boyfriend could not accept the UGLY truth at first but he is used to it now... because HE HAS TO.

However, I love it because of its simplicity. Big and Bold. Plus, this glasses come with nerd power which can help my grades to sky high, exactly what I need  =D

I love the fedora so much :)

Fun Fun Fun!

Today I am aspired to blog another fashion post (click here for my other related posts).

Wanna know why?
Because I finally bought a vertical mirror for my own room!
I am a girl and I cannot live without a big mirror, lol.
Yes I am no longer using my imagination when dressing up!

But Beware.
Enough of meme pun, I am going to show you how I layer my clothes for chilling weather. We all know that Malaysia weather is like PMS, sometimes it is sunny sometimes you gonna expect for raining cats and dogs. Here, let assume that Kuala Lumpur is having chilling or rainy weather. Ummmm... wait, IT IS RAINING SEASON. Jeng jeng jeng!

I opened my wardrobe and found out that I have plenty of tees and jeans. However, as an avid fan of Chriselle Lim, a famous fashion guru. She constantly emphasizes on layering from thin to thick with would allow your body figure to have balance proportion, which I believe it is true because if you layer the thick material first then the thin one, it would add extra volume on your figure and that will make you look bigger.

That is a big no-no!

1. Little white dress
2. Cardigan
3. Tube dress or a maxi skirt
4. Thick belt
Anyway, you must be wondering: why there is a white dress and a skirt? Well actually I do not have a white sleeveless top so I was thinking, why not I transform my dress into a top? It would be so versatile! And also, I do not have a maxi skirt either, it is actually a tube dress lol! The tube dress is so loose I decided to wear it as a skirt, hehehehe...

All of these pieces can become as this:

It actually makes me look taller LOL! because of the illusion of the cardigan and the skirt. I love this outfit so much because it really express my true self, a more relaxing kind of girl. I am not a typical edgy rocking chick or a clubbing hotness, those are not me. I am a good girl LOL. Just kidding.

I kinda look like Belle's outfit from Disney's Beauty and the Beast minus the belt and cardigan, maybe it because of the white and blue (it is actually in turquoise colour but yea). I LOOK LIKE DISNEY PRINCESS!!! *hype hype*

I am so sorry for what I did just now.

Sooo... this is my simple post on how I layer my pieces. What do you think? Leave your comment below alright!

Before that, wishing you all to have a great New Year ahead!

Year end shopping spree

Christmas is over and every shop is blasting Chinese New Year songs everywhere.

Mommy and I decided to shop at Sunway Pyramid today since my university club meeting was being cancelled unexpectedly lol. We went to Barbera Cafe for our lunch, turned out to be disaster because the service is freaking sucks. We actually had to wait for an hour just for our main courses? That is unacceptable for us because we ordered from set meals, not ala carte so it should be faster right? Sadly, the waitress over there was quite slow and always in a sour or moody face, funny is someone even mentioned on Foursquare tips!

True story

However, the food is not bad. After encountered such problem, if you want to have a taste of their food... Just go to their Bangsar outlet, it is much better compared to this one, in my opinion lol.
Being vain again.
Tee: Sometimes
Blazer: Padini
Shorts: ROMP
Wedges: Vincci
Bag: Charles and Keith

Mom was having a good mood for shopping, literally. While she was looking for shoes at Parkson, I was also trying out some shoes, hopefully I could another pair of awesome boots for next year. I saw this...

Damn it, pretty pretty Santa Barbara Polo ankle boots.

I wanna get this so bad because it is SUPER SUPER COMFY inside!! until I saw the price. DAFUQ expensive giler... I dare not to say out the price here wtf. Anyway, we had a pleasant shopping time together like a mother and daughter time lol in a mall. Mother bought her aunty stuff hahahahaha while I got some cute stuff from the mall!

Cute looking flat pumps from Tiamo!

The crowns are simple adore, aren't they!

My Melody sweater from Forever 21!

That is why I love cute stuff recently. They are waaaaaaay tooooooooooo adorable! I wanted to get a new pair of pumps because my old black pumps are spoilt due to over-wearing-it-during-working-hours, might as well get a new one and I simply love Tiamo flats and mom hates it when I buy some cheap flats from Cotton On (I do love their shoes tho!) cuz it does not last long at all.

My Melody sweater? Simple, I AM OBSESSED WITH HELLO KITTY COLLECTION. 'Nuff said. I found this cute sweater on the rack and I instantly love it! Mom was gave me a  'omg seriously you kidding me another hello kitty collection this time a sweater okay fine but you pay for it' look when I was gaga over this cute sweater!

Cute stuff ftw!
and memes...

LOL. Okay, done posting but before that.... another obnoxious posing photo!
