Wonderbox March Edition

| On
28 March 2013
Hi guys, March is going to end soon but there's nothing to be sad on. Wonderbox March edition has finally arrived on my doorstep! I was really excited when my neighbour handed the box to me, she helps to collect my parcel whenever I'm not around! :P

Do a sexy post after receiving Wonderbox March Edition
Wonderbox March Edition features some skincare products from the same brand, Murad. Murad is a well known product which focuses on solving our complexion problems, such as acne, dehydration, aging, etc. In this edition, there are three Murad products: Murad Oil Free Sunblock SPF30, Murad Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture and Murad Active Radiance Serum. Out of these three products, the one that I often use is their sunblock.

It is really not surprise to name this box a Murad box though.

Other than that, Wonderbox also introduce a brand from New Zealand, Wild Ferns. What I got is Wild Ferns Rejuvenating Hand Creme. I have not heard about this brand, so this product could be an exciting product to me. This 30ml product comes in handy for travelling, which is important for all ladies. You want to have pretty hands, don't you? ;)

The most shocking item I received from Wonderbox is Elianto Fionatto Blush. Not that I bad mouth Elianto, it's just that this brand is too common in beauty industry. Most of us know Elianto for a very long time and it is one of the first makeup products I used when makeup was introduced to me. I believe that a beautybox should give their subscribers to have a chance to try on unique makeup products, maybe a bold colour eyeshadow, glitter eyeliner or eyelashes with extra volume (HAHA). I found out that Elianto Fionatto Blush is too harsh on my fair skin, I have to apply it extremely lightly to avoid red baboon arses.

Overall, I don't feel excited as I used in their February issue. That is because I do not have the opportunity to try on other brands other than Murad. Wonderbox team should understand that variety is what we, the subscribers want. Variety means chances, opportunities to discover other beauty brands.

Now, I'm still considering whether I should continue subscribe to Wonderbox or not. Any opinions other Wonderbox subscribers? What's your thought on this edition? Leave your comment below and we shall have a chit chat together-gether (I love to imitate how my lecturer talks, he is an awesome lecturer =D)

March Favourites

| On
16 March 2013
Hey guys,

It's Sunny Saturday today, the day when I can wear PJs walking around in my house in a lazy afternoon. Just kidding, if I am still in my PJs, there will be an unpleasant surprise from my mother.

Today, I'm going to share my favourite makeup items with you all! I think it would be a great idea to have My Favourite Items of the month post in 2013, just to keep my blog fresh! I'm going to introduce some of my favourites in March issue.
I have poor editing skill.
Star product of the month!
One of my favourite products in this month would be Essence Gel Eyeliner, it is an essential product for my every makeup look. I just can't live without eyeliner because my eyes tend to look ultra sleepy even though I am wide awake! Essence Gel Eyeliner is smooth and the colour is jet black! Perfect for creating K-Pop cat eyes look ;)

1. NYX Lip Smacking Fun Colors in LSS632 Frappucino
This is the latest lipstick I've purchased at Sephora. At first, I was looking for Tea Rose but their outlets at Star Hill and KLCC do not provide many choices there. Through some survey I've done, the shades of Tea Rose and Frappucino are quite similar. The reason why I like this lipstick very much is because the shade is not OTT, I wear it for university almost everyday! It has good staying power and it only costs less than RM20!

2. Essence get Big lashes waterproof mascara
I purposely bought this mascara just for SHM concert! The name of this mascara says it all 'WATERPROOF', which is useful for busy girls like me. Not only that, it helps to volumizing my eyelashes, giving my eyes an kawaii effect.

3. Revlon Color Stay Foundation
I can say is, this foundation is the best foundation I could find in the average market. The coverage is extremely good, it can cover my blemishes and acne without using concealer. It has funny smell though, I think it smells like medicine (I don't know!). The price is reasonable with all the benefits I could get. Oh yea, I would to thank Josarine for recommending me this.

4. Peripera Milky Lip Tint
Most amusing part is that I got this just because of the packaging, it is really darn cute! *impulsive buying* However, this lip tint is really nice to play with. The shades are sweet and innocent (pink or peach) which is a must-have product for korean and gyaru inspired makeup. I like to use this lip tint as cheek tint because it is not overwhelming.

5. Maybelline Baby Lips Color
Lip balms are my favourite daily product for moisturising my lips from the harmful sunny days. What I like about this product is there's no fragrance/taste at all. I don't like lipbalms with flavours because it is just taste too weird for me. It's like I'm hanging banana on my mouth -.- It's cheap and good for my yummy lips.

What are your favourite beauty products of the month? Do share with me through commenting :) Happy March-ing everybody!

Review: Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream

| On
02 March 2013
I miss reviewing beauty/cosmetics products recently, it is time to review my current favourite product - Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream. I bought this product during last year end sales where there was a buy one free one promotion. I was out of BB Cream so it was a good deal for me!
Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream contacts whitening and anti-wrinkle properties and also provides protection from sun's harmful UV rays, thanks to its SPF30/PA+++. It is also provide medium to full coverage with a dewy finish. Moreover, Etude House Collagen Moistfull series is infused with skin-loving Baobab tree extract and collagen, this hydrate face makeup line moisturized and provides watery glow.

A small pea size can go a long way because of its thickness.

The product gives a beautiful dewy finish with a hint of glowery finish. Plus, a small amount of this BB Cream is enough for my face and neck (which is what I like!). Moreover, its consistency of thickness is enough to cover almost of the blemishes and acne on my face, except a big red zit near my nose :(
However, the product has a slightly oily finish. After few hours, my face would tend to be greasy. Despite of the oily finish, Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB Cream has a decent staying power. In order to avoid the greasy face, I would normally set my BB Cream with pressed powder on my face.
Notice the difference?
Rate: 4/5
Would I repurchase this product? Yes I would if only they are having sales! If I'm not mistaken, the price of this product is RM90+ (I would update the price soon!)

xoxo
